About the role:

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred clinical care to clients in their own homes and in the community. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to clinical assessments, care planning, monitoring and review, while supporting clients to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

You will work closely with clients, families, Care Partners, support workers, GPs and Allied Health professionals to ensure care is safe, responsive and well-coordinated.



This is a varied community-based role where you will have the chance to use your clinical skills while building genuine relationships with clients and supporting them to remain as independent as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- You will provide clinical care to our clients in the community and will support clients with wound management, catheter care and chronic disease management under the clinical direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Utilise validated clinical assessment tools to identify high-risk or high-prevalence health issues
- Provide education and resources to clients and families on clinical risk management and ongoing care strategies
- Recommend equipment or assistive devices within scope of practice to support daily living
- Actively collaborate with GPs and Allied Health professionals to support comprehensive care planning
- Work in line with Melville Cares’ Clinical Governance Framework

Essential Criteria:

- Comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Enrolled Nurse Standards for Practice.
- Current Registration with the AHPRA.
- At least two years’ experience working as an Enrolled Nurse, with dementia care experience highly regarded.
- Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written.
- A current driver’s licence
- Police clearance certificate (less than 3 months old).

Desirable clinical experience

- Nursing experience in aged care, including residential or community care.
- Knowledge and experience in Dementia care.
