About the role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will play an important part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a particular focus on financial reporting, month-end and management accounting.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Managing accounts payable and receivable oversight
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Supporting project and job costing across construction projects
- Monitoring project financial performance and analysing costs against budget
- Preparing financial analysis and reports for management
- Assisting with audit and tax requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Supporting process improvements and wider finance projects

Working within a collaborative finance team,



you'll have the opportunity to gain broad exposure across both financial and management accounting while developing your understanding of the commercial side of the construction industry.

About you:

You may be a Financial Accountant looking to take the next step in your career, or an Assistant Accountant ready to broaden your experience and take on greater responsibility.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification would be advantageous
- Previous experience in financial or management accounting
- Solid understanding of month-end and financial reporting processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
