About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join our large Occupational Therapy service, which works from a model of person centred, occupation-based practice, supported by a robust staff development and support framework. This position is within our rotational program, and provides an excellent opportunity to gain and consolidate a wide variety of experience and skills. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, perform and deliver effective and individualised assessment and interventions, demonstrating clinical reasoning and core clinical competencies, including use of relevant assessment tools, treatment methods, and case management skills.
- Demonstrate organisational skills and efficient time management to appropriately evaluate, prioritise and complete workload.
- Attend and participate at relevant team/service meetings in relation to patient care.
- Demonstrate open and effective communication (verbal, non-verbal, written and electronic) with consumers, other staff and service providers.
- Actively participate in regular clinical supervision, demonstrating ongoing development of clinical skills and reflective practice as identified in supervision plan.

About you:

- Be registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA (or to be in the process of obtaining registration).
- Have a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Have a current Employee status Working with Children Check.
- Have experience at an undergraduate or graduate level in relevant clinical areas.
