This is a fixed term, part time (0.4 FTE) chance commencing from 2nd November 2026 to the 31st December 2027. This position can be situated in either the Greensborough, Coburg, Bendigo, Mildura or Swan Hill office.

About this role

The Inclusive Education Senior Practice Advisor will work collaboratively to understand the needs of schools across the region with regard to inclusive practices and will subsequently develop, improve, coordinate facilitation and promote participation in inclusive education professional learning including the Inclusive Classrooms professional learning program. Further, the Inclusive Education Senior Practice Advisor will champion the Inclusive Education agenda across the region through the provision of expert policy and program advice to schools and regional staff, with a focus on improving universal tier 1 and targeted tier 2 practices.

Travel for the purpose of meetings and the delivery of professional learning and support to area and school staff is an expectation of this position.

Working as part of the Disability Inclusion Branch, and in close collaboration with regional staff (including, but not limited to Area and Divisional staff, Inclusion Outreach Coaches and Senior Disability Inclusion Advisor) the Inclusive Education Coach will focus on:

- Building schools' awareness of and ability to navigate and utilise Inclusive Education resources and supports
- Capability building of regional staff related to effective tier 1/tier 2 inclusive practices (supporting their ability to connect schools with the right supports at the right time
- Support coordination of the Inclusive Classrooms courses and the broader suite of related professional learning (in close partnership with area based colleagues.)
