Early Learners Hub, a 27-place family owned Childcare Centre located in Albion Park, is seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our dedicated team in a part time capacity working Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm.

As a Cook at Early Learners Hub, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and healthy environment for the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare three nutritious meals daily for children attending Early Learners Hub.

- Kitchen Maintenance: Perform cleaning duties related to the kitchen, ensuring a protected and hygienic environment.

- Food Ordering: Manage weekly food orders, keeping track of inventory and ensuring a well-stocked kitchen.

- Menu Planning: Develop seasonal menus that are both appealing to children and nutritionally balanced.

- Interactive Cooking: Engage in cooking experiences with the children, fostering a positive relationship with food.

- Safety Awareness: Demonstrate knowledge of allergies and Anaphylaxis,



implementing necessary precautions in meal preparation.

About You:

- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on cooking for children.

- Care about children’s nutrition and dietary requirements.

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

- Familiarity with allergy management and Anaphylaxis procedures.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to create menus that meet nutritional requirements for young children.

- Must have a valid Working With Children Check and Food Handling Certificate.

- First Aid Certification desirable
