About the role

As an Environmental Services Assistant, you’ll help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across CGH, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who enters our facilities.

Your work will be varied and important, and you'll receive the support and training you need to feel confident in your role.

Your day may include:

- Cleaning patient rooms, treatment areas, furnishings, shared spaces and other facility areas.
- Making beds and changing and removing bed linen.




- Completing routine cleaning and spot-cleaning tasks.
- Responding to cleaning and service requests.
- Following established cleaning schedules, infection prevention requirements, standards, policies and procedures.
- Assisting with patient transport as required.
- Working as part of a team to ensure our facilities are maintained to a high standard.

About you

You don't need years of experience to be successful in this role.

Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare or environmental services is desirable but not essential.
