Job Description

We are seeking experienced clinician to join our ICU team as the Clinical Nurse Educator on a permanent, part-time basis.

About the Role

This is a multi-faceted role within our Intensive Care Unit where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based education, clinical support, and professional development to nursing staff across the critical care environment. You will work collaboratively with the ICU leadership and multidisciplinary team to promote best practice, clinical excellence, patient safety, and high-quality patient outcomes.

You will be required to:

- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based training and support to the staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs across the facility.
- Provide valuable contributions to the hospital’s quality improvement process.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and solid interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Team leading experience




- Possess excellent time management skills and well development clinical problem-solving skills
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
