Experienced Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and experienced Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team for 3–4 days per week.

This varied role will include both reception and dental assisting duties, so we are looking for someone who is confident working in a busy dental practice and can move comfortably between the front desk and surgery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service

- Managing appointments, phone calls and patient enquiries

- Processing payments and health fund claims

- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical notes

- Chairside dental assisting

- Sterilisation and infection-control duties

- Supporting the dentists and wider team with daily practice operations

The ideal candidate will have:





- Previous experience in dental reception and/or dental assisting

- Experience using Dental4Web

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- A skilled, warm and patient-focused manner

- The ability to multitask and work well within a team

- A good understanding of infection-control procedures
