Job Title: Operations Support Officer

Position Overview

The Operations Support Officer provides day-to-day operational and administrative support to the COO and broader operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of depot activities, fleet coordination, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the COO with daily operational tasks and coordination across depots

- Support scheduling, rostering, and allocation of drivers and vehicles

- Monitor and follow up on operational issues, delays, and service disruptions

- Liaise with drivers, workshop staff, and control centre to ensure clear communication

- Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and audit processes

- Coordinate documentation including reports, checklists, and operational records

- Support incident reporting and ensure records are completed accurately and on time

- Track and follow up outstanding actions from audits, inspections, and meetings





- Assist with fleet management tasks including vehicle availability, servicing schedules, and defect reporting

- Provide general administrative support to the operations team

Key Skills & Experience

- Experience in transport, logistics, or depot operations (preferred)

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and management

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

- Competent in Microsoft Office and operational systems

- Understanding of compliance and safety requirements (desirable)
