Greensill Farming is a family-owned agribusiness with more than 80 years of history in the Bundaberg region. Our operations span sugarcane and sweet potato farming, earthmoving, farm development, composting and a range of supporting operations.

Our Workshop team plays an important role in keeping our fleet and operations moving, and we’re looking for a Fitter Machinist to join the team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fixing things, solving problems and working on a variety of equipment rather than doing the same job every day.

Working as part of our Workshop team, you’ll be involved in:

- General fitting, machining, fabrication and mechanical repairs

- Repairing and modifying components and machinery

- Machining parts to specification

- Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues

- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

- Working across agricultural, earthmoving and workshop equipment

- Supporting our broader farming and operations teams when required

- Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of equipment and projects, with plenty of variety throughout the week.

About You





We’re looking for someone who is:

- Trade qualified as a Fitter Machinist, Fitter & Turner or similar

- Experienced in machining, fitting and mechanical repair

- Confident reading drawings and working to measurements and specifications

- A practical problem-solver who enjoys finding a way to get the job done

- Able to work independently while also being part of a team

- Safety-focused and committed to quality workmanship

- Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work

Experience working with agricultural, earthmoving or heavy machinery would be highly regarded.
