Champions IGA are an independent local supermarket group with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and product. We are currently seeking staff with weekend availability to join the Bakery team at our Whittlesea Supermarket.

Successful applicants will be involved in the baking of fresh product and merchandising of bakery items for sale within our Supermarket.

To be considered for a position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

· Have a passion for baking and fresh food

· Ability to ensure proper conditions and standards are met for service in the Bakery department

· Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

· Availability to work versatile retail hours (including weekends and 6am starts)





· Be able to provide exceptional customer service

· Good physical fitness (some heavy lifting is required)

· Be enthusiastic with a great work ethic

· Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy

Prior experience in a bakery or fresh food industry position will be highly regarded but is not essential. All required training will be provided in store.
