About the Role

As a Dispatch Officer, you’ll coordinate RACQ Patrols and external service providers, balancing member needs, demand and available resources to deliver timely roadside assistance.

You will

- Dispatch Patrols and service providers
- Monitor demand and resource availability
- Prioritise events and make real-time allocation decisions
- Respond quickly when operational conditions change
- Communicate with Patrols, providers and internal teams
- Solve problems and manage competing priorities
- Work confidently across multiple systems and communication channels

What You’ll Bring

- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence making decisions under pressure
- Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
- Initiative, adaptability and attention to detail
- Confidence using multiple systems simultaneously
- A collaborative approach and strong member focus
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, contact centres, field resource coordination or another fast-paced operational environment
