Solhouse Cafe is opening!

Solhouse is looking for passionate and motivated Chefs, Cooks and Kitchen Hands to join our kitchen team at our new café and wellness destination in Torquay.

We’re looking for kitchen staff who take pride in preparing fresh, high-quality food and enjoy working in a positive, fast-paced hospitality environment. Our menu will focus on fresh, wholesome and creative dishes made with quality ingredients.

About the role

- Prepare and cook a range of fresh café dishes to a consistently high standard

- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and portion control

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards

- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

- Assist with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation

- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

- Experience in washing dishes and cleaning or a willingness to learn

About you

- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a café, restaurant or similar environment

- Strong understanding of food preparation and food safety





- Ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Passion for fresh, quality food

- Reliable, organised and team-oriented

- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
