The Role

We are seeking a fit, reliable and hands-on Hygiene Team Leader to support our food manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in leading daily hygiene activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and helping ensure our production areas are ready for safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach and support a small hygiene team to complete cleaning and sanitation activities safely, consistently and to schedule.

- Follow strict food safety, hygiene (GMP and HACCP), and WHS procedures

- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly

- Working with your team to clean and sanitise all production areas, equipment, floors, walls, amenities, work surfaces, lunchrooms, and common areas





- Disassemble and reassemble equipment where necessary to clean and sanitise

- Dispose of waste according to company and regulatory guidelines

- Support production teams by ensuring a clean and protected working environment

- Report maintenance, safety or hygiene issues to supervisors

- Restock consumables, empty bins and replace bin liners

- Complete cleaning logs, checklists and sanitation records accurately and on time

- Assist in emergency response clean ups if necessary

- Develop and improve cleaning SOPs and schedules as required.
