Guest Service Agent – Hotel Reception

Metro Hotel Marlow Sydney Central is seeking for an experienced, motivated and driven person who embraces their job with passion, creativity, professionalism and commitment

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for all guests, assisting them with all aspects of their arrival and departure requirements. You will provide exceptional service to our guests by responding to requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing email and over the phone enquiries and assisting with accommodation requests and reservations.

- Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.

- Organizing and recording details of guest and management requests.

- Responding to queries and delivering information on the goods, services, and activities of the organisation.

- Fulfilling every query, answering, connecting, and transferring telephone calls.

- Accepting and circulating communication and other deliveries.





- Performing other clerical tasks such as word processing, data entry, filing, mail dispatch and photocopying.

- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and company policies.

Successful Candidates are expected to have:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills (check-in, check-out, during their stay)

- Provide creative resolutions to complaints and problems

- You are versatile and adaptable to the fast-paced & dynamic hotel industry

- Flexible to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and nights

- Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.

- Passion for providing every guest with a positive experience

- Ability to communicate effectively using appropriate language and communication skills in the areas of guest contact, employee relations, and complaint handling

- Consistent pride in their grooming and presentation

- Candidates to have valid work rights for Australia
