Intuitive Insurance Solutions is a boutique general insurance brokerage with a national client base in biotech, medtech, clinical trials, medicinal cannabis and emerging technology. Our clients carry specialised risks and expect a broker who understands how their businesses work.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an Account Executive to join our broking team and support a portfolio of sophisticated clients alongside our Account Managers. You'll handle day-to-day servicing, prepare renewals and market submissions, and build your technical knowledge across lines such as professional indemnity, D&O;, cyber, life sciences liability and clinical trials.

The role suits a qualified broker who wants to develop in specialist lines rather than process high volumes of standard business. For someone who takes on responsibility and does the work well, there is a clear path to Account Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client servicing

- Handle day-to-day client requests, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of currency and invoicing

- Prepare renewal information requests and follow up with clients so submissions go to market complete and on time

- Assist with claims lodgement and keep clients informed as claims progress

Placement support

- Prepare market submissions and approach insurers under the guidance of an Account Manager

- Compare quotes and policy wordings, and draft sections of broker reports and renewal commentary

- Build your knowledge of the products,



wordings and insurers relevant to our sectors

Account growth

- Identify gaps in client insurance programs and raise cross-sell opportunities with your Account Manager

- Help prepare new business proposals and pitch material

Compliance and records

- Keep client files, system records and file notes accurate and current

- Meet our compliance and disclosure obligations on every transaction

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

- RG 146 Tier 1 qualified in general insurance broking

- At least 2 years' commercial broking experience in a servicing or account executive role

- Clear written communication and careful attention to detail

Desirable:

- Exposure to professional indemnity, D&O;, cyber or liability placements

- Experience with, or a robust interest in, life sciences or technology clients

- ANZIIF Diploma of Insurance Broking

You take ownership of your work, follow tasks through without needing to be chased, and ask questions when something doesn't add up. You'd like to work in a smaller team where your contribution is visible and you get early exposure to complex placements.
