Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter ready to step into a senior position where you can take genuine ownership of plant reliability and maintenance?

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Fitter to join an established FMCG operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable tradesperson who is comfortable working autonomously, coordinating maintenance activities and using their experience to keep a fast-paced production facility performing at its best.

Duties

- Carry out preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across production equipment
- Diagnose faults and respond efficiently to plant breakdowns
- Utilise MEX to manage maintenance activities, work orders and preventative maintenance schedules
- Identify recurring faults and opportunities to improve plant reliability




- Plan and prioritise maintenance requirements with minimal supervision
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors when required
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and with minimal impact on production
- Work closely with production and site stakeholders to maximise equipment availability

About You

To be successful, you must have:

- Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Strong maintenance experience within FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, packaging or another high-speed production environment
- Solid hands-on experience using MEX
- Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance capabilities
- Ability to confidently work autonomously and take ownership of maintenance priorities
- Full Australian work rights
- Robust communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

Previous experience coordinating contractors, planning maintenance activities or taking the lead on site maintenance requirements will be highly regarded.
