About the Role
This role puts you in charge of a mid-sized new build in Melbourne's west, valued at approximately $10M. The scope is straightforward and well contained, with a full Project Manager, Contract Administrator and HSEQ team already in place to support you. You won't be carrying the site alone, and the working week reflects that, running to a genuine five days. It's a live, fully funded project with explicit scope and budget from day one, backed by a builder with a secure, government-supported pipeline of further work.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage subcontractors and key stakeholders on site day to day
- Drive and enforce OH&S; processes across the site
- Oversee quality assurance and ensure works meet specification
- Coordinate delivery and drop off materials to program
- Resolve on-site issues and disputes as they arise
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator to deliver on time and on budget

Essential Requirements

- 5+ years' site management experience, having owned a ground-up new build of comparable scale ($5M to $15M), multi-level and institutional in nature
- Background with a Tier 2/3 or regional commercial builder, with direct accountability for program, quality, safety and subcontractors
- Available on short notice, up to two weeks,



and based in or able to commute to Melbourne's West
- A stable employment history, and a clean record for medical checks, a Working With Children Check and, where required, a police check

Desirable Extras

- Experience delivering social or affordable housing
- Comfortable operating within a supported site team rather than sole-charge
- Familiarity with Procore, Aconex, HammerTech, JobPac or MS Project
