We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day retail and commercial operations of our Pizza Inn stores at Mount Hutton and Edgeworth.

This is a multi-site management position responsible for ensuring both stores operate efficiently and consistently while achieving expected standards in customer service, sales performance, workforce management, stock control, cost management and regulatory compliance.

The successful applicant will regularly work across both the Mount Hutton and Edgeworth stores, which are approximately 16 minutes' drive apart, and will be responsible for coordinating store teams, monitoring operational and financial performance, maintaining appropriate stock and staffing levels, and ensuring consistent Pizza Inn service and product standards across both locations. A current Australian driver's licence is required, and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred due to the regular travel involved in the role.

The position is full-time for 39 hours per week and requires flexibility to work across both locations, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required. Travel between the Mount Hutton and Edgeworth stores will form part of the normal responsibilities of the position. Reasonable additional hours may occasionally be required depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily retail and operational activities of the Mount Hutton and Edgeworth Pizza Inn stores, ensuring both locations operate efficiently and in accordance with business and brand requirements.

Monitor the sales, customer demand, labour utilisation and overall commercial performance of each store and implement practical measures to improve productivity, service delivery and profitability.

Coordinate staffing requirements across both locations, including preparation of rosters, allocation of employees between stores where required, management of leave coverage and ensuring appropriate staffing during peak trading periods.

Recruit, induct, train, supervise and support store employees, monitor performance and maintain consistent operating and customer service standards across both teams.

Monitor sales results, labour costs, food costs, wastage and other operating expenses for each location and assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost-control initiatives.

Review store performance reports and key operational indicators to identify differences between the two locations and implement improvements where required.

Determine appropriate stock and supply requirements based on sales volumes,



customer demand, promotions and trading patterns at each store.

Manage purchasing, supplier orders, stock levels and inventory control for food ingredients, beverages, packaging and other operational supplies.

Coordinate stock movement or allocation between the two stores where appropriate to maintain availability, minimise wastage and support efficient inventory management.

Ensure appropriate stock rotation, storage and inventory procedures are followed and investigate significant stock discrepancies or wastage.

Monitor the range, availability and presentation of products offered across both stores and provide input regarding customer demand, product performance and promotional opportunities.

Implement approved pricing, meal deals, promotions and local marketing activities and monitor their effectiveness in supporting customer engagement and sales growth.

Maintain high standards of customer service across in-store, takeaway, online and delivery channels and manage escalated customer complaints or service issues.

Monitor product quality, consistency, presentation and service standards across both locations and address operational issues where required.

Ensure both stores comply with applicable food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and other regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular store checks and operational reviews to ensure procedures, cleanliness, presentation and workplace standards are consistently maintained.

Oversee POS processes, cash handling, reconciliation procedures, transaction records and other store administration requirements.

Maintain and review relevant business records relating to sales, staffing, inventory, operating costs and store performance.

Liaise with suppliers, delivery platforms, Pizza Inn representatives and other external service providers regarding operational requirements, promotions and service issues.

Report on the performance and operational requirements of both stores and recommend improvements to support continued business growth and effective store operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma, Advanced Diploma,



Associate Degree or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business, Hospitality Management or a related discipline, or relevant experience demonstrating equivalent management capability.

Minimum 1year of relevant management experience within retail, fast food, quick-service restaurant, hospitality or a comparable customer-facing business environment.

Previous experience managing store operations including staff supervision, rostering, stock control, purchasing, sales monitoring and cost management.

Experience overseeing multiple sites, departments or operational teams will be highly regarded.

Demonstrated ability to interpret sales and operational reports and use business information to improve store performance.

Skills and Attributes

Strong retail and multi-site operational management skills.

Effective leadership, staff supervision and workforce planning capability.

Sound understanding of stock control, purchasing, budgeting and cost management.

Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyse store performance and identify operational improvements.

Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.

Ability to manage priorities across both store locations and travel regularly between Mount Hutton and Edgeworth.

Current Australian driver's licence required; access to a reliable vehicle preferred.

The two stores are located approximately 16 minutes' drive apart. The Store Manager will be required to regularly travel between both locations to oversee staffing, store operations, stock requirements, service standards and business performance.

A current Australian driver's licence is required for the position. Access to a reliable vehicle is preferred, given the regular travel required between the two stores.
