The Role

As the Transport Coordinator, you will be a key member of the team, providing vital operational support to the Regional Transport Coordinator across a variety of areas:

Duties include:

- Coordinate and plan for group deliveries
- Maximise vehicle utilisation in line with business guidelines
- Liaise and communicate with third-party logistics providers
- Allocate customer orders
- Monitor and ensure all drivers adhere to COR requirements and maintain proper logbook checks
- Oversee and support driver training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific delivery guidelines and standards

Skills & Experience

- Degree or Diploma qualification is preferred, or significant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in transport planning & scheduling
- Previous experience in the FMCG or Transport Logistics industry
- Understanding of transport industry safety standards, COR, and Heavy Vehicle regulations
- Experience using ERP systems
- Strong skills in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication abilities
