Commercial Carpenters and Trade Assistants needed for a Mackay medical centre fit-out.

Our client is a reputable commercial construction contractor delivering high-quality fit-out projects across Queensland. Due to upcoming project requirements, they are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters and capable Trade Assistants to support a medical centre fit-out in Mackay.Your new role
Working on a commercial medical centre fit-out, you will be assisting with the construction and installation of various building components while ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.This project is expected to run for approximately two weeks, with the potential for additional work on future project stages. 2-3 weeks of work potentiallyDuties may include:

- Commercial fit-out works
- Partition and framing installation
- Assisting with general construction activities
- Using hand and power tools
- Site preparation and clean-up
- Supporting qualified tradespeople
- Reading and interpreting basic plans (Carpenters)
- Ensuring site safety and quality standards are maintained

- Previous construction or commercial fit-out experience
- Confidence assisting tradespeople on active construction sites

What you'll get in return
In return, you'll secure a great short-term prospect on a commercial healthcare project with competitive rates of $55/hr for Carpenters and $45/hr for Trade Assistants, plus penalties. You'll work alongside an experienced construction team and may have the opportunity to return for future project stages as additional work becomes available
