About the role
As our Product Manager, you'll shape the digital services and experiences used by our customers, clinicians and employees—turning complex operational challenges into practical, scalable products that improve how mental health and wellbeing services are delivered. Sitting within the Technology team and reporting to the Head of Technology & Innovation, you'll own the digital product roadmap from discovery through to delivery and continuous improvement. You'll work at the intersection of technology, clinical services, customer experience and business transformation—bringing people together, setting clear priorities and turning ideas into measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the digital product roadmap, aligned with business strategy, customer needs, clinical priorities and technology capacity.
- Own the product backlog—including discovery, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, refinement and prioritisation.
- Act as the hands-on Product Owner for delivery teams, making decisions, resolving trade-offs and accepting completed work.
- Partner with Clinical, Sales, Operations and Technology teams to uncover pain points and redesign customer and service experiences.
- Translate complex operational needs into clear product decisions and achievable delivery plans.
- Develop product goals, success measures and business cases.
- Use customer feedback, research, operational insights and performance data to guide priorities.
- Coordinate dependencies, delivery risks and change impacts across the organisation.
- Support product releases, adoption and post-launch improvement.
- Create alignment across competing priorities through clear, transparent communication.
About you
- Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner delivering digital products or services in a cross-functional workplace.
- Demonstrated ownership of a roadmap and backlog from discovery through to delivery.
- Strong capability in requirements definition, user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritisation.
- Experience improving customer journeys, services or operating processes.
- The ability to simplify complexity and turn business needs into practical product solutions.
- Confidence using research, feedback and data to identify opportunities and measure results.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Sound judgement, adaptability and a bias for action.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in healthcare, mental health, wellbeing or another service-intensive environment will be highly regarded.
