We're seeking an experienced Mill Operator to join a specialised food-grade processing operation in the Central West NSW region.

This hands-on role requires a technically capable operator who can manage milling operations, monitor plant performance and maintain high standards of safety, quality and production efficiency. Experience within grain, feed, flour, rice or pet food manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor milling equipment to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure food safety compliance.
- Support production scheduling and daily operational priorities.
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimise downtime.
- Monitor production yields and operational performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with WHS requirements.




- Support and coordinate operators during shift operations.

Experience & Skills

- Minimum 2 year's experience in a grain mill, feed mill, flour mill, rice mill, pet food production facility or similar processing environment.
- Experience operating and monitoring milling, pelleting or automated processing equipment.
- Robust understanding of food safety, quality assurance and manufacturing WHS requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery and optimise production performance.
- Able to work autonomously and maintain operational efficiency.
- Previous experience supporting or coordinating other operators will be highly regarded.
