We’re looking for an experienced Tower Crane Operator to join a 17-storey high-rise project in Scarborough.
Given the location and conditions of the site, we need someone who is confident working on tight-access projects and comfortable operating in the coastal conditions that come with being in close proximity to the ocean.
High-rise experience is essential. Tier 1 project experience would be highly regarded.
The opportunity
This is a hands-on role for an experienced operator who is confident in their ability and understands what is required on a busy high-rise construction site.
You’ll be working closely with the site team, dogmen and riggers to ensure lifting operations are completed safely and efficiently throughout the project.
Your role
Responsibilities will include:
- Operating the tower crane across a 17-storey high-rise project
- Working safely within a tight-access construction site
- Completing lifts in accordance with site procedures and lift requirements
- Maintaining clear communication with dogmen, riggers and site supervisors
- Monitoring changing weather and site conditions
- Completing daily pre-starts and required crane checks
- Maintaining solid awareness of surrounding trades and site activity
- Following all site safety procedures and project requirements

About you
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Proven Tower Crane Operator experience
- Previous high-rise construction experience
- Current relevant crane licence and required tickets
- Confidence operating on tight-access sites
- Experience working in changing weather conditions
- Strong communication and site awareness
- A good understanding of construction site safety requirements
- Tier 1 construction experience would be highly regarded
