- $105,577.68 - $110,359.60 base salary (SCHADS Level 5, pro-rata) + super + salary packaging options – increase your take home pay by 6 to 12% through our not-for-profit charity status!

About the role

The Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) lived experience and peer workforce is an emerging space in South Australia, with infrastructure, scope and support continuing to develop. Within OARS CT this role is the point of reference for the organisation on peer practice; modelling the safe and purposeful use of lived experience,



advising and complementing clinical and program staff and practice to maximise successful rehabilitation outcomes for clients.

FTE: Part Time (0.5FTE)

About You

To ensure success in this role, the right candidate will have:

- Lived experience of alcohol and/or drug misuse and of a sustained personal recovery/abstinence, together with the capacity to draw on that experience purposefully, safely and within professional boundaries.

- Willingness to identify or be identified by others as a skilled with lived experience of recovery.

- Ability to empathise with disadvantaged people, particularly those who have/are interacting with the justice system.

- Certificate IV in AOD/Mental Health Peer Work/Community Services and or equivalent qualification as agreed by Commissioning Body.

- AOD Skill Set (CHCSS00093) and SHARC Peer Worker Training or commitment to attaining within agreed timeframe following appointment.

- National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
