About the Role:

We're looking for a Pump and Irrigation Technician to join our growing team at our Maryborough branch.

We're open to different backgrounds. You might be an Electrician, a Plumber with a restricted electrical qualification, an experienced Pump Technician, or a mechanically minded tradesperson looking to develop your skills in the pumping and irrigation industry.

No two days will look the same. You'll work across a diverse range of pumping and irrigation applications, installing, servicing, maintaining and fault finding across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Your work may include:

- Installing, servicing and maintaining pumps and irrigation systems
- Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and system faults
- Installing and repairing pipework, waste and effluent systems
- Working with pump controls, motors, VSDs and instrumentation
- Reading and interpreting plans, schematics and technical diagrams
- Working across residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial applications
- Working alongside other specialists to deliver practical solutions for our customers

Some travel and away work may be required throughout the year.

About You:

Above all, we're looking for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys fault finding and takes ownership of their work.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- A trade qualification in electrical or plumbing; or relevant pump/technical experience
- Restricted electrical qualification highly regarded for plumbing candidates
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with pumps, irrigation, electrical controls, motors or similar equipment highly regarded
- Ability to read plans, schematics and technical diagrams
- Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pumping and irrigation experience is desirable, but not essential.
