About the role:
This traineeship offers a unique prospect to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with receiving, storing, packing and handling goods, ensuring materials are managed safely and efficiently.
- Support stock control activities, including monitoring stock levels, conducting stocktakes and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with managing stock rotation, shelf life and quarantine storage to ensure materials are available when required.
- Develop skills in logistics, procurement and the safe handling and transportation of goods, including dangerous goods.
- Work with the team to resolve stock and logistics queries, maintain warehouse procedures and support day-to-day operations.
What we're looking for:
- Good attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
- A motivated and reliable person who is keen to learn and develop new skills
- A current manual driver's licence is essential.
- Must be able to successfully pass a defence security clearance
