At Theodore Multipurpose Health Service, you'll be part of a small, 10-bed facility providing a broad mix of emergency, inpatient, outpatient, residential aged care and telehealth services. It's a setting where you can build strong relationships, enjoy a varied scope of practice and become a valued part of the local community, while experiencing the lifestyle and character of regional Queensland.

About the role:

- Support patient care and comfort by assisting with basic patient care and responding to individual dietary needs, preferences and clinical requirements.
- Deliver high standards of cleaning and hygiene across the health service and staff accommodation, following relevant policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Provide catering and laundry services, including meal preparation, safe food handling and operation of laundry equipment and chemicals.
- Maintain the facility and grounds, including gardening, waste management, fleet vehicles, equipment and preventative maintenance requirements.

About you:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, patients and consumers.
- A team-focused approach,



with the ability to work effectively across a multi-skilled team while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
- Good self-management skills, including the ability to organise, prioritise and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately to day-to-day operational needs.
- A Food Safety qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

What we offer:

- An hourly rate between $41.43 - $44.20 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
