About the Role
Our client is a WA owned and operated Steel Fabrication manufacturer based in Northern suburbs and servicing Perth for over 50 years. We are looking to add an enthusiastic youthful Trades Assistant to the team.
This is a long term rewarding entry level position for the right candidate with great attitude and energy.
Would suit candidates living North of River as Wangara location.
The ideal candidate is RELIABLE, proactive, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to learn and use safe manual handling techniques
- Competent & safe handling of workshop power hand tools
- Working to the pace of the set job production timeframes
- Forklift license an advantage
- Listening and following instructions
- General house keeping to maintain a clean safe work area.
About You
You will ideally have:
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and be RELIABLE.
- Previous experience in a workshop or warehouse role.
- A current LF Forklift Licence. (preferred)
- A current Drivers license
- Exp using various hand power tools
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
