About the role

Alkemade Trading are after a chainmesh (or similar skilled) fencer with 2-5 years' experience with good communication skills, a strong work ethic, work within the Australian standards and MOST IMPORTANTLY fit in with our existing team. Our range of work covers Metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding areas, we do work away on occasion. Due to this there is a some driving involved. We specialize in Sporting enclosures such as cricket nets, tennis court, screening and sporting fields.

Key responsibilities

- Reading, Understanding and Implementing Plans

- Installation of Chainmesh and Tubular fencing and Gates, including site prep and clean

- Prepare site for installation of fence i.e Dig holes, Level site, Installation fence, Using Power tools, Site clean

- Provide Photos, and any feedback throughout job and on completion

- Working within our team

- Post hole drilling (training can be provided)

About you

- Experience and knowledge in Chainmesh Fencing and tubular fencing

- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role (fencing/construction)

- Construction White card

- Driver's License (MR or willing to get)





- Full Australian work rights

- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

- Working with children – if you don't have it we can acquire that for you

- Bonus points – able to do basic Welding, Excavator, Skid steer or EWP tickets and if you have a HR license
