About Us

Dot Humanity is an Australian-based Proprietary Limited Company established in 2020, that provides support to people with disability who have an NDIS Plan. We are a registered NDIS provider, which means we work with people with disabilities under the NDIA's legislation and regulation, the WA State Government, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

About this role

We are seeking a highly organised and compliant Bookkeeper & Administration Officer to join our growing team in Osborne Park. This is a part-time position working school-friendly hours, 10:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week), with a genuine pathway to full-time employment after 12 months for the right person.

As a provider operating under strict regulatory guidelines, we are looking for a professional who prides themselves on accuracy, financial integrity, and adherence to the relevant qualification and professional-association requirements. This role combines day-to-day bookkeeping with general office administration, using your financial expertise to support the day-to-day lives of individuals with disability.

In this role, you will:





- Process invoices and NDIS claims in strict accordance with the NDIS Price Guide.

- Reconcile accounts and manage Accounts Payable/Receivable functions.

- Process payroll and superannuation.

- Liaise with participants, nominees and support coordinators regarding funding availability and invoice status.

- Maintain financial records in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and NDIS legislation, and prepare records for BAS in conjunction with our external accountant.

- Monitor your caseload to ensure claims are processed within agreed timeframes.

- Maintain high-quality record keeping, including competency with IT systems and the PRODA portal.

- Provide general office administration and other duties as directed by the Manager.

About you (Mandatory Requirements)

Due to the regulatory nature of our services, strictly no exceptions can be made regarding the following.

1. Qualifications — You must be able to provide certified copies of your transcripts, and hold at least a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (minimum). Higher qualifications are welcome, including:

- Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping)

- Diploma of Accounting / Advanced Diploma of Accounting

- Tertiary qualification / degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping

- Post-graduate or Master's qualification with an accounting emphasis

2. Professional Membership (Registration) — You must provide evidence of current registration/membership with one of the following:

- Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)

- Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)

- Australian Bookkeepers Association (ABA)





- CPA Australia (CPA)

- Institute of Public Accountants (IPA)

- Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ)

- (Registered BAS Agent status with the Tax Practitioners Board highly regarded)

3. NDIS Knowledge — Familiarity with the NDIS system is essential, including NDIS provider claiming, plan types, the NDIS Price Guide, and the PRODA portal.

4. Essential Skills & Checks

- Satisfactory safety screening: National Police Check, International Police Check (if required), current WA Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

- Demonstrated computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and accounting/bookkeeping software (e.g. Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks).

- Excellent attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.

- Strong written and verbal communication to interact professionally with participants and providers.

Preferred

- Experience in the NDIS sector, specifically within Plan Management.

- Proven flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing work demands.

Terms and Conditions of Employment

- Position: Part-time, 20 hours per week (10:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday), with a pathway to full time after 12 months.

- Classification: Relevant Award Classification.

- Salary: $32 – $35 per hour, pro rata.

- Superannuation: 12% of the cash salary.
