About the role

You'll look after the commercial side of our projects, from procurement and subcontracts through to variations, claims, cost control and final account. You'll sit alongside our Construction Manager and Site Managers to help each other keep projects on track. You'll be involved in major procurement packages, commercial negotiations, contractual claims, variations and project cost management — working alongside an experienced team across the full project lifecycle. You'll help deliver quality residential, commercial and social housing projects across Queensland, including the Sunshine Coast.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the full contract administration process from award through to completion

- Manage variations, claims and extensions of time

- Prepare and assess progress claims and payment schedules

- Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and negotiations

- Liaise with site management, project managers and subcontractors to keep programs on track





- Monitor contractual notices and critical timeframes

- Support monthly cost reporting and forecasting

- Maintain accurate and defensible contractual records

- Identify commercial risks and escalating them early

- Assist with final accounts and project close-out

About you

- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar

- 3+ years' construction contract administration experience

- Experience with variations, progress claims and subcontractor payments

- Strong contractual and commercial awareness

- Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project or similar scheduling software

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Robust negotiation and stakeholder management capability

- Exceptional attention to detail

- A proactive approach to commercial risk
