Heavy Vehicle Mechanics – Wacol, QLD

Are you an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic looking for a stable, full-time role with a leading road transport company? We are seeking skilled Mechanics to join our team at our Wacol, QLD workshop.

We have day or afternoon shifts available and voluntary overtime on offer!

With our imminent move to brand new, purpose-built workshop facilities located in Carole Park, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team during a period of growth and transition into a modern, well-equipped workspace designed to support efficiency, safety and best-practice maintenance operations.

About the Role:

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure they meet safety and operational standards. This is a full-time role with opportunities for overtime and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair faults

- Conduct scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections

- Perform brake, suspension, transmission and engine repairs





- Ensure compliance with NHVAS Maintenance and company safety standards

- Maintain accurate service records and work within workshop procedures

Requirements:

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (or equivalent)

- Experience in maintenance and repairs

- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

- HR licence (desirable but not essential)

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
