AUSTCORP is currently seeking an experienced HR or HC Driver and a Labourer/Roller Operator to join an established asphalt crew.

�� Depots based in Mittagong or Unanderra
*This role will require you working away from home at times.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone with a background in asphalt, roadworks or civil construction who is looking for consistent work, good hours and the opportunity to be part of an experienced crew.

About the Role
You’ll be working as part of an experienced roadworks/asphalt crew, with a combination of driving, general labouring and roller operation.
The role may include:

- Operating rollers and assisting with asphalt works
- General road construction and civil labouring
- Driving HR/HC vehicles as required
- Shovelling, raking and assisting the asphalt crew
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Working away from home as required
- Following all site safety requirements

Crack sealing experience will be highly regarded and is a outstanding advantage.

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will have:

- Current HR or HC licence




- Previous asphalt/road construction experience
- Experience operating a roller
- Construction White Card
- Relevant RII tickets where applicable
- Willingness to work away from home
- Ability to work day and night shifts when required
- Able to work away from home (LAHA Paid)
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude

Experienced asphalt workers are preferred, however, we are also open to candidates from a civil construction background who have the right attitude, experience and willingness to learn the asphalt side of the industry.
