What you'll do

As a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Brisbane, you will be supporting a team delivering projects across mining and resources, oil and gas and water. You'll play a key role delivering electrical engineering scope on a large, newly awarded gas infrastructure portfolio, supporting the ongoing operation of vital gas field infrastructure for a major energy client.

It's a chance to grow your technical expertise within a secure, long-term project environment, while leaving a lasting impact by mentoring and developing the next generation of electrical engineers.

You'll be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will:

- Be a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on electrical engineering works across a major oil and gas portfolio.
- Deliver hands-on electrical engineering design and technical problem-solving across the portfolio.
- Build strong client relationships, providing transparent, practical electrical engineering advice from concept through to implementation.
- Work with colleagues from other disciplines to resolve technical challenges and deliver complete multi-disciplinary projects.
- Guide and develop emerging engineers, providing technical mentorship and supporting their professional growth.
- Manage project progress, expenditure and performance outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and support best-practice standards.





What you'll bring

- Extensive experience in LV and HV electrical engineering with the proven ability to apply this technical knowledge to achieve project outcomes.
- RPEQ registration is required, with candidates working towards certification also considered.
- A genuine interest in mentoring and developing emerging engineers, with the ability to train, guide and support others.
- Proven expertise in managing projects in alignment with client policies, standards and specifications.
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
