Groundworks Australia are currently seeking a dynamic Yard Manager to join our expanding team.

About Us:
We are a dynamic and growing business in the landscaping and blower truck industry, known for delivering high-quality materials and exceptional service across Southeast Queensland. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Manager to join our team and take charge of daily operations at our yard.

About the Role:
This hands-on leadership role will see you managing our yard operations, ensuring our trucks are ready to go, materials are manufactured to spec, and staff are working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate daily yard operations

- Manage and supervise yard and truck staff

- Organise and schedule truck servicing and basic repairs

- Ensure materials are manufactured,



blended and stockpiled correctly

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels; place orders as needed

- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant worksite

- Liaise with management and drivers to ensure jobs run smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in a yard, workshop or operations management role

- Solid mechanical knowledge – able to coordinate servicing and perform basic maintenance

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Front End Loader licence (or willing to obtain)

- A proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to work autonomously

- HC/HR licence or experience with trucks is highly regarded but not essential
