The Role:

We currently have a position available for a 3rd Year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This a diverse role which includes looking after a varying range of equipment and sites as well as providing the opportunity to learn or further develop skills in the Building Services – Fire field.

Primary Scope

· To provide maintenance services and repairs of commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment.

· Sound communication with customers, staff and supervisors is essential.

· 3rd or 4th year apprentices may apply.

Responsibilities include:

· Diagnosing and repairing commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment

· Maintenance of commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment

· Installation of commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment

· Generating service reports, uploading photo’s and maintenance documents

· Liaising with customers,



suppliers and contractors to source parts and plan work schedules

Job Requirements:

· Certificate III Refrigerant and Air Conditioning

· HVAC Contractors license preferred but not essential.

· Full Refrigerant Handling Licence

· Current Australian Driver’s License

· Australian Citizen/Resident

Experience and competency:

· Solid technical background in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with proven experience in maintenance and repair.

· Good work ethic and the ability to work alone as well as with other Technicians.

· Attention to detail, accuracy in reporting and use of company software (Uptick)

· Proactive approach to work, organisation of jobs and assessing client needs.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other team members, customers, maintenance managers and others.
