Queensland Groundwater Solutions is growing its existing pump business and needs a licensed electrician who is eligible to be nominated as the Qualified Technical Person for an unrestricted Queensland electrical contractor licence. This role is focused on bore pumps, three phase motors, control panels, VFDs, fault finding and rural water systems. The electrician performs and supervises the electrical work, maintains electrical standards and works alongside the experienced pump and drilling team. There is no expectation to find customers or run the office.
Key responsibilities
Perform and supervise electrical work on bore pumps, three phase motors, control panels and VFDs
Conduct fault finding on rural water systems
Maintain electrical standards
Work alongside the pump and drilling team
Communicate well with customers
About you
Current Queensland electrical mechanic licence or ability to gain
Eligible to act as QTP for an unrestricted electrical contractor licence
Experience with motors, controls and fault finding
Able to work independently in the field
