Nautic Star is seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder to join our team. We are looking for a skilled tradesperson with excellent aluminium welding capabilities and basic fabrication skills to assist with the assembly and welding of our aluminium boats and trailers.
Key responsibilities
Aluminium MIG/Aluminium & Stainless TIG welding of boat and trailer components
Assembly and fabrication of aluminium structures
Reading and working from drawings and measurements
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
About you
Proven experience in aluminium welding
Robust welding skills and attention to detail
Basic fabrication and fitting skills
Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Manage time effectively
Commitment to producing quality workmanship
Boat-building experience is an advantage but not essential
Boat-building experience is an advantage but not essential. For the right applicant, Nautic Star will provide in-house training in aluminium boat manufacturing.
