Backstaff has a unique opportunity to hire a casual Motor Vehicle Assessor looking to work from home or those wanting flexible working hours.

Backstaff is an innovator in the auto collision industry providing services and qualified people in the industry to help business keep up with their ever-changing needs. We are actively looking to hire experienced Assessors to join the team.

The Role:

Comprehensive knowledge of the Automotive Repair and collision damage assessment process.

Accurate assessing damage/loss from photographic evidence and generating reports on a purpose-built digital assessment software to provide a fair and reasonable cost outcome for the customer.

Follow up with customer in office contacts for additional information or photos required for accurate estimation.

Provide exceptional customer experience for our clients.

Knowledge and Experience:
Experience in and current knowledge of the mechanical repairs and motor body repair industry including the relationship between the industry and the Insurance sector




Experience with the Audanet/Estimage/Autointegrity or similar Assessing Platforms
Experience assessing Cars and Motorbikes
Trade qualification in mechanical repairs, panel beating or spray painting
Knowledge of Insurance claims and assessing procedures
Proven negotiation skills accompanied by solid communication skills
Ability to learn and navigate claims and assessing systems in a technology-based environment.
