We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our hotel operations in Maroochydore, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers the chance to manage all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences whilst maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. As Hotel Manager, you will be the driving force behind our hotel's success, overseeing a diverse team and implementing strategic initiatives that align with our company's vision and values. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding hospitality service and maintaining the high standards expected within the luxury hospitality sector.
Key responsibilities
Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, beverage, and small maintenance
Manage staff recruitment, training
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality industry regulations and standards
Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain high customer service standards
Build and maintain relationships with guests, corporate clients and business partners
Manage crisis situations and resolve guest complaints with professionalism and discretion
Oversee maintenance of facilities,
amenities and cleanliness standards throughout the hotel
What we're looking for
Experience in hotel management or a similar senior hospitality leadership role
Proven track record of successfully managing multi-department hotel operations and achieving financial targets
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff and stakeholders
Understanding of hospitality industry standards, health and safety regulations, and duty of care requirements
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Flexibility to work diverse hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required in the hospitality sector
Experience in luxury or boutique hotel settings would be advantageous
