About the role

Care Medical Practice is opening a recent family medical centre in Bassendean, WA. You will work as a founding clinician with a say in how the practice runs and the services it offers. You will work with the owners and Practice Manager while the clinic is being established, providing your input on what works well in general practice and what you would want to do differently.

Key responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations for children and adults
Help plan clinical processes including appointments, follow-ups and ongoing care, and how GPs work with nursing and reception staff
Suggest areas of care that suit local patients and your clinical interests, with scope and resources agreed before introducing current services
Help establish ways of working that allow clinicians and support staff to communicate well and support each other




Provide general practice services including preventive care and chronic disease management

About you
Current AHPRA registration appropriate to the role
Australian work rights and eligibility to provide Medicare-rebatable GP services at the Bassendean location
Experienced GP who enjoys looking after patients over time
FRACGP or FACRRM qualifications are highly regarded

About us

Care Medical Practice is setting up a family practice where patients can see their regular GP for ongoing care. The clinic will provide general practice services for children and adults, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
