About the role

You will lead the administration function and oversee the operational systems that allow clinicians to do their best work. You will work closely with the Director and take primary responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the practices. This role offers a genuine chance to shape how the psychology practice operates, with influence over systems, culture, staff development and the future direction of the business.

Key responsibilities
Manage and develop administrative staff
Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes
Lead workflow and process improvement initiatives
Manage rostering and staff coverage
Oversee client-service systems
Manage billing and accounts processes
Oversee clinician onboarding
Manage waitlists and practitioner availability
Conduct operational problem-solving and performance management
Develop and implement policies and procedures

About you
Previous practice-management experience in psychology, allied health,



specialist medical or another comparable healthcare workplace highly regarded
Demonstrated experience leading people and operations
Calm under pressure and organised without being rigid
Comfortable with difficult conversations and able to hold people accountable respectfully
Capable of seeing both the immediate operational issue and the broader system contributing to it
Solid written and verbal communication skills essential
Comfortable making decisions, raising concerns, giving and receiving feedback and taking responsibility for outcomes
