We are a 4-vet small animal practice nestled in the stunning Port Stephens region - just north of Newcastle and only five minutes from the beach. The Role:

n

We're looking for a Part-Time Lead Veterinarian to join us on an 8-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, commencing in December 2026.

n

The role is offered on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to work full time hours if that is your preference.

n

As Lead Vet, you'll provide day-to-day clinical guidance and support to the veterinary team, while also stepping in to cover the superintendent duties. You'll be involved in a diverse caseload of consultations and surgery.

Whatyou'llbring:

A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent, recognisedin Australia
n
At least 3+ years of experience
n
Confidence in soft tissue surgery
n
Experience mentoring veterinarians in a supportive veterinary practiceisdesirablebut not essential
