With a central production kitchen supplying multiple locations across Sydney, they’re now looking for an organised, hands-on leader to help keep daily operations running smoothly.

As the Assistant Kitchen Manager, you’ll lead a close-knit team preparing, packing and dispatching high volumes of fresh ingredients each day.

This is a hands-on, non-customer-facing role for someone who loves process, takes pride in high standards and isn’t afraid to jump in alongside the team.
You may have come from kitchens, QSR, catering or alike.

What you’ll be doing
Oversee the daily preparation, packaging and dispatch of fresh food
Manage rostering, stock levels,



ordering and supplier relationships
Lead and support kitchen assistants, supervisors and the logistics team
Maintain robust food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
Work closely with senior management to keep operations running smoothly
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and consistency

The details
Full-time, 38-hour week (no excessive unpaid overtime)
No nights
Salary of $75,000–$80,000 + super, depending on experience
