Station Maintenance Supervisor (Year-Round)

Join Vail Resorts' Civil and Building Team as the Station Maintenance Supervisor and take a hands-on leadership role in maintaining The Station Resort in Jindabyne. You will lead a small maintenance team, coordinate contractors, oversee preventative maintenance, and respond to reactive maintenance across buildings, accommodation, grounds, utilities, and equipment. The role includes an on-call roster, with a minimum of three nights per week during winter and occasional summer requirements.

Key responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a small maintenance team
n
Carry out hands-on maintenance and repairs
n
Prioritise maintenance requests and preventative works
n
Coordinate contractors and specialised works
n
Conduct inspections and maintain maintenance records
n
Ensure WHS, regulatory, and operational compliance
n
Respond to unplanned maintenance and emergencies
n
Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Events, and Food & Beverage teams
n

About you





n

n
Trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, or a relevant building trade, or equivalent experience
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
Experience in building, accommodation, grounds, or facilities maintenance
n
Experience coordinating teams or contractors
n
Solid practical maintenance and problem-solving skills
n
Solid communication and organisational skills
n
Commitment to safety, quality, and presentation
n
Desirable: Resort, remote, or alpine experience
n
Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights
n
Full time, year-round employment
