Vibe College is looking for an experienced and passionate Hairdressing Trainer and Assessor to join our student-focused team in Brisbane.

You’ll deliver practical and theory-based training across:

SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing

SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management

About the role

Part-Time | Monday–Thursday | 9:00am–4:00pm | Spring Hill

You will:
Deliver face-to-face practical and theory training
Assess students in accordance with the relevant SHB training package
Support students with different learning styles and backgrounds
Share current industry knowledge, techniques and qualified standards
Provide feedback and mentoring to help students develop their skills
Support the student salon,



including client appointments and phone enquiries
Strong customer service delivery
Complete required training, assessment and administrative documentation
Maintain industry currency and professional development

About you

We’re looking for someone who combines strong industry experience with a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring.

You will have:
Certificate III in Hairdressing and Barbering
Diploma of Salon Management
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent, as applicable
Current industry knowledge and experience of industry currency
A Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
Robust communication and organisational skills
A qualified, approachable and student-focused attitude
