CNC Operator / Machinist – Commercial Joinery

Form Commercial Group is looking for an experienced CNC Operator / Machinist to join our team in our up-to-date Yatala workshop.

n

The role involves operating CNC and associated machinery within a commercial joinery workplace, working alongside our existing machining team.

n

Hours: Option of a 4 or 5 day working week
n Pay: Remuneration based on experience

n

CNC machining of panel products including MDF, veneers, melamine and similar materials

n

Applying and processing edge tapes

n

General machine setup and operation

n

Basic machine maintenance and upkeep

n

Checking components for quality and accuracy

n

Keeping machinery and the work area clean, neat and organised

n

Working alongside other machinists and the wider factory team

n

What we're looking for:

n





Previous CNC machining experience is essential

n

Previous experience within a joinery, cabinetmaking or similar panel-processing workshop

n

Good understanding of panel materials and joinery manufacturing

n

Ability to work accurately and efficiently

n

Strong attention to detail

n

Takes pride in keeping a clean and organised work area

n

Reliable and able to work well as part of a team

n

Forklift licence is an advantage

n

We have a up-to-date workshop with modern machinery and offer flexibility with either a 4-day or 5-day working week.

n

Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and capability.
