Security Officer and Control Room Operator

Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Security Officer to provide exceptional customer service and emergency response at a retail site based in Helensvale.

n

This is a full time permanent position working a 4 days on / 4 days off roster, consisting of 12-hour shifts across days and nights. The role is paid at Level 4 under the Security Services Industry Award, plus First Aid allowance.

Key Responsibilities

n

Provide a high level of security and customer service
n
Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises
n
Respond to emergencies, alarms and calls for assistance
n
Assess and manage situations of risk
n




Conduct access control duties
n
Perform CCTV control room operations
n
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate data logs
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
Current Security Licence
n
Control Room Licence and Crowd Control endorsement
n
Current First Aid & CPR certification
n
Flexibility to work rotating rosters including nights and weekends
n
Solid verbal and written communication skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a team
n
Professional attitude with a positive and proactive approach
n
