Salt has partnered with a Private Fund Manager who is looking for a career-driven Senior Python Developer with hands‑on end to end experience using Python and direct experience in enterprise level engineering, working on the electronic trading platforms.

The role:
You will be building market simulation engines, quantitative modelling and developing existing algorithms within the client's platform in Python
You will be working within a variety of disciplines, designing, coding, verifying, testing, documenting, and amending programs and integration software services.
Be an advocate for the adoption of Agile/Scrum practices, methodologies, and attitudes.

What makes you a good fit:
A minimum of 4 years of commercial experience using Python
Strong knowledge of Quantitative Analysis / Development




A robust understanding of financial markets and at least one asset class
Experience with Investment / Quantitative Strategies
Data Analysis and Manipulation

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
